A FEW THINGS ABOUT THE ARTIST

1. What do you do when you’re not making art? (Day job etc...).

Pickle Ball for sure! Volunteering to babysitting grandkids 20 hours a week and doing display design work at Ditto upscale resale, swimming, boating and more pickleball - I'm super competitive :)

2. Why do you make art?

It is part of me. I love to worship and paint, it centers me.

3. What inspires you?

Being in nature. Especially out on the water.

4. What/who are your influences?

Right now I would say I am influenced by Winslow Homer, Ivan Azovsky, and J.M.W. Turner. I also love the work of Joan Mitchell and her freedom of using paint.

5. If you could meet anyone dead or alive who would it be?

Freddie Mercury or “Prince” Roger Nelson (because they were so creative and cool! ) I secretly want to be a rock star when I grow up!
